Palit rebrands XpertVision range

Move welcomed by specialist distributor VIP which claims it signals more marketing funds will be diverted to the Palit brand

VIP has hailed Palit’s decision to rebrand its XpertVision graphics cards range to the better-known Palit brand.

The move by the manufacturer of ATI and NVidia cards, not only means a name change, but means marketing resources that were previously divided between the two brand names will now concentrate on the Palit name.

Matthew Parrish, product manager at VIP, said: “By using the more famous Palit brand name instead of the old Xpertvision brand, we can help VIP’s customers benefit from the worldwide marketing activity that Palit do, so this is a really positive move.

“The transition from Xpertvision to Palit is very easy as it is only the logo and packaging that has changed – the products themselves are exactly the same.”

Bernice Lin, regional sales manager at Palit, said: “This integration is a milestone for us and highlights our ambition to drive forward as the “pioneer and leader in graphics technologies”. With a clear vision and focus, we will maintain our dedication to aggressive pricing, quality and unsurpassed performance.”
