Computerlinks rides Crossbeam train
East Anglian distributor becomes first in northern Europe to bag training accreditation from UTM vendor
Security distributor Computerlinks has become the first channel firm in northern Europe to bag a training accreditation from unified threat management vendor Crossbeam Systems.
As part of the Crossbeam's Accredited Service Provider (CASP) programme, the Suffolk-based distributor has become northern Europe's first Authorised Training Partner. The agreement enables Computerlinks to offer comprehensive Crossbeam training at its training facilities in central London and in Crossbeam's remote training lab.
Over the coming year, the distributor will be able to provide five times as much Crossbeam training as it currently does. Since joining the CASP-ATP programme last year, Computerlinks has doubled its number of certified Crossbeam specialists and more than quadrupled the number of courses it offers.
Martin Hall, training division manager at Computerlinks, said: "By using Crossbeam’s specially equipped labs, we can offer delegates training on the very latest technology without having to make the capital investment in the labs ourselves. It is a winning solution all round.”
Crossbeam's director of worldwide professional services Thien Doan added: " Computerlinks has world-class facilities, dedicated and highly respected instructors, and training is one of their core competencies. With today’s tough economy, it is important to find ways to engage more strategically with our channel to drive new opportunities. We believe this is what the CASP programme offers.”
