Neocol moves in next door to Big Blue

IBM partner ditches Piccadilly office for Portsmouth - where it will inhabit the same development as Big Blue

Neocol is ditching London's West End to be close to IBM

Content management consultancy Neocol UK has relocated to coincide with its aggressive expansion plans.

Following a recruitment drive the company has relocated from Piccadilly in London to Portsmouth – right next door to vendor partner IBM.

Steve Ellis, managing director of Neocol UK said: “The Lakeside development is ideally situated for us, our clients and vendor partners. The facilities will help our team develop both new and existing services.”

The move brings Neocol closer to partner IBM’s UK headquarters, which is located within the same development.

Andrew Burt, mid-market sales leader of IBM’s telecoverage business said: “Neocol’s commitment to IBM’s Content Management portfolio as one of our leading Premier Business Partners is evident in their investment in technical certification, as well as their unstinting programme of business development initiatives.

“Its support for our Software Business focus in mid-market is very much appreciated and we are delighted to have Neocol aligned so closely to IBM’s UK Headquarters. There is no doubt it will be mutually beneficial for both parties over the years to come.”

Nick Turner, director at owners of the development Highcross, said: “1000 Lakeside is a perfect location for Neocol. With its impressive aesthetics, high specification office space and strong UK and international transport links, the landmark building offers a significant edge to companies seeking business space in the area.”
