ASI launches CRM reseller programme
Software vendor hopes scheme will fuel take-up of its iMIS product
Software vendor ASI Europe has launched a UK reseller programme to fuel take-up of its iMIS CRM software.
ASI described iMIS, its flagship software product, as a suite of integrated, scalable and customisable modules designed to help not-for-profit businesses organise back-office systems and communicate with members.
The vendor has two training routes for partners: an implementation and product support route for consulting firms and web development teams; and the sales and marketing route for software resellers and system integrators.
Niroo Rad, managing director of ASI, claimed the channel will benefit from good margins.
"For every £1 of software sold, at least £2 of services goes with it. Most projects are quite meaty and take several months to complete," he said.
Russell Franks, chief executive of iMIS reseller Fisher Technology, said: "There has been a growth curve for the product. It compares well with other packages operating in the same space."
Dale Vile, service director at analyst Quocirca, said ASI needs to handle its reseller relationships carefully.
"Sometimes small customers prefer to take packages from smaller vendors. The majority of mid-market users are still using footprint solutions, and the jump to CRM can be quite daunting and expensive. The key to iMIS's success will be the partnerships that ASI makes and how it maintains them," he said.
