Sage deal for Panacea
Reseller wins contract to implement a Sage CRM SalesLogix system
VAR Panacea has won a six-figure contract to implement a Sage CRM SalesLogix system. The deal comes just weeks after Panacea completed its management buy-out (MBO).
Panacea has been selected by Prime Business Solutions to implement the system across its four sales divisions and customer helpdesk. The system is expected to enable Prime to increase its operational efficiency and also gain tighter control over sales.
Paul Turner, chief executive of Panacea, told CRN that its recent MBO has not affected its ability to deploy on such contracts.
“We are now moving into the deployment stage of the contract,” he said. “It should then be completed this summer.
“For Prime, this is about knowing where its resources are and how best to deploy them, but it’s externally focused on the customer.”
Prime Business Solutions said the system will go live in June. Panacea will provide systems integration and infrastructure services.
Andrew Lennon, financial director at Prime Business Solutions, said: “For our sales and marketing organisation, SalesLogix does what we want with minimum customisation.
“Panacea’s implementation schedule is very timely and responsive. We have every confidence that we will significantly increase our efficiencies and sharpen our sales operations.”
Last month Panacea underwent an MBO in conjunction with venture capitalist Isis Equity Partners, which invested £6.2m in the VAR as part of the transaction (CRN, 22 May).
