NetApp and F5 cosy up
Storage vendor enters collaboration partnership with F5 Networks
NetApp has signed F5 as an Advantage Alliance Partner
Storage vendor NetApp has signed application delivery specialist F5 Networks to its Alliance Partner Programme.
F5 joins the programme as an Advantage Alliance Partner and will collaborate with the vendor to develop unified application and data delivery solutions for the datacentre.
Through the partnership, F5 will benefit from access to NetApp's software development kits, technical support and marketing tools.
Jim Ritchings, vice president of business development at F5, said his firm was “delighted” to have become part of NetApp’s Alliance Partner Programme.
He added: "NetApp and F5 have a large shared customer base that is deriving tremendous value from our solutions, so this partnership makes a lot of sense. Our joint solution is very compelling, and by working together we will deliver even more value to customers."
Patrick Rogers, vice president of solutions marketing at NetApp, said: "By joining the NetApp Alliance Partner Programme, F5 will provide a complementary solution to NetApp storage that will help customers eliminate the many problems typically associated with data migration. Together, we'll help customers boost productivity and increase the agility of their infrastructure."
