2e2 plans to boost managed services proposition

Storage VAR also aiming to expans its business throughout Europe

Storage reseller 2e2 has revealed plans to boost its managed services proposition around its data management portfolio.

The firm, which signed a reseller agreement with virtualisation vendor Acopia at the beginning of the year (CRN Online, 2 January), is also aiming to expand its business throughout Europe.

Christ Hervey, managing director of 2e2, told CRN: “We want dramatic growth over the next few years. We are based mainly in the UK and will look to make a European acquisition either in what we do now, or a logical extension of what we do. The firm will definitely have services attached.”

Hervey added that the VAR’s managed services will grow around the Acopia ARX product business. The tiered virtualisation device can perform non-disruptive data migration, tiered archiving, data replication and load balancing.
