StorageCraft gets creative

Vendor hopes reworked product line and partner programme will lure in VARs

Change of track: StorageCraft has shaken up its channel offerings to attract new partners

US-based vendor StorageCraft has reworked its channel programme and product offerings in an attempt to lure new partners.

Since opening its UK office in June 2009, the firm has signed 100 UK resellers to help market its line of data backup and recovery solutions, but it is keen to attract more.

Tammie Coles, European business development director for the UK and Ireland at the firm, said: “The aim is to triple the size of our reseller base by having 300 active partners signed up by the end of the year.”

To support its recruitment drive, the firm has recently updated its ShadowProtect product line – with new versions of both its server and desktop data management software launched earlier this month.

Additionally, and in response to partner feedback, the firm’s channel programme has also been revamped.

“The offering that is now in place offers [partners] something very
special,” added Coles.
