Channel Debate enters phase two
The second part of CRN's campaign to get the UK channel thinking about its future focuses on structure
CRN has launched the second question in our 2009 online campaign, the Channel Debate.
As revealed last month, we will be posing a different question each month until September in an attempt to get every part of the industry thinking hard about the future.
On our specially designed micro-site, readers can leave their thoughts and views on a variety of topics including the recession, the future of the channel, vendor/reseller/distributor relationships, partner programmes and trust in the channel.
The site is also regularly updated with news, videos and features relating to the current debate topic, so it is worth going back for a second or even a third look.
This month our question is: How do you see the structure of the channel changing in the future? Is it doomed in its current form?
For a brief introduction to the current debate topic, read our article: Winds of change in the channel.
Ewa Johnson, Oki's marketing director is the first to air her views on the current question in our specially produced video. Check it out on the site and leave your own thoughts on the page.
We are also running a poll alongside each month's question, and hope you will cast your vote.
The results of the debate will be presented at The Channel Conference, a CRN event scheduled for October.
To view the question, articles, videos and poll, and leave your answers, please visit the debate micro-site and leave your comments at the bottom of each story.
All views are welcome.
