Midwich signs deal with GNR

Distributor Midwich has inked a deal with monitor vendor GNR for its full range of IT display monitors

Lee Baker, business manager for displays at Midwich, said: “We have experienced massive growth in the display market and wanted to add another vendor to our existing five – AG Neovo, Acer, Belinea, Samsung, and Relisys.”

GNR already has four distributors in the UK – Computer 2000, Micro-P, VIP Computers and Westcoast – but Baker said GNR appointed Midwich because it is “strong in the SME space and can help them grow in this area”.

“GNR do some hard glass models and educational establishments can’t get enough of these products, so VARs with education links will be interested in the new products,” Baker added.

Bob Tarzey, service director at Quocirca, said: “Midwich has got a good level of distribution into schools and has experience of dealing with education resellers in this sector.”
