Not welshing on the deal

The Welsh Office and former Welsh secretary William Hague have been cleared by the National Audit Office of any wrongdoing in respect of inward investment grants to Korean giant LG Electronics. However, general funding limits were exceeded in a #247 million bid to attract LG to a site near Newport.
