Vcomm strengthens VoIP presence

Distributor signs with Voipex

Communications distributor Vcomm has claimed its new partnership with start-up vendor Voipex will enable it to become a major player in the voice over IP(VoIP) sector.
Vcomm will push Voipex’s ViBE software to both its resellers and service provider customers.
Scott Dobson, managing director at Vcomm, which was recently acquired by service provider Coms, told CRN: “[We intend] to become a major part of VoIP. The partnership is a fantastic opportunity for us.”
Jonathan Nelson, managing director at Voipex, said: “We hope to build our channel presence with Vcomm. It has created some excellent relationships in the channel.”
Andrew West, sales manager at Vcomm partner Anglia Telecoms, said: “ViBE allows us to provide cheaper networks and attract more business as a result.”
