Unipalm adds Rainbow VPN

NetSwift iGate will strengthen the offering VARs can sell to business customers

Security distributor Unipalm has added Rainbow Technologies' Secure Socket Layer virtual private network (SSL VPN) software to its product range.

The distributor already stocks Rainbow's USB authentication token iGate.

David Ellis, director of e-security at Unipalm, said the newest product, NetSwift iGate, will strengthen the offering VARs can sell to business customers.

"SSL VPNs have come on in leaps and bounds," he said. "We believe firms deploying them will require stronger authentication, and NetSwift iGate can offer this as a cost-effective solution."

Ellis added that Unipalm will offer its reseller partners training, sales support and demo boxes.

Gary Clark, vice-president of EMEA sales and marketing at Rainbow, said: "There has already been a lot of success with NetSwift iGate. With the efforts of Unipalm we are confident it will become the SSL VPN standard."
