Azlan partners with Actiontec

Distributor's latest partnership gives reseller base access to vendor's VoSKY Skype product set

Azlan has inked a partnership with Actiontec Electronics, giving the networking distributor's reseller base access to the vendor's VoSKY family of Skype-certified products.

The agreement covers VoSKY Exchange, an offering that enables businesses to use Skype's internet phone service, alongside three other VoSKY products for making Skype calls from home phones, mobile phones, and hands-free speakerphones.

The products will be available both to Azlan’s reseller base and the VARs of holding firm, Computer 2000.

Gunjan Bhow, vice president of marketing at Actiontec, said: "Internet phone calls are becoming more mainstream and Skype users all over the world are replacing their headsets with VoSKY products and integrating VoIP technology into their everyday lives as well as business environments that previously could not use Skype at all. Our agreement with such distributors as Computer 2000 further strengthens our sales presence in Europe, and demonstrates value and the market demand for our VoSKY product line."

Lee Perkins, director of Azlan UK, said: "There are now more than 100 million Skype users around the world and Skype’s growing significance, especially in the SMB market, makes this a very exciting opportunity,” said. “VoSKY products help to bring Skype to the user’s familiar phone interfaces and environments. Whether they are at home, in the office, or on a mobile phone, VoSKY solutions make this integration very easy and seamless."
