Cincom spreads its Total Framework Var and wide
Software development firm Cincom has set up a two-tier European channel to bring its Total Framework toolset to a broader market.
The application development environment has traditionally been sold direct or through specialised Vars. Now Cincom is targeting broader penetration with its solution provider programme (SPP) and independent sales representatives (ISR) scheme.
SPP is aimed at corporate Vars and larger integrators building applications primarily for the enterprise market. Programme members will get a full single-user licence for all Total Framework products, plus a support package including joint marketing activities.
Among the activities that come with the SPP are two-day workshops for partners? staff and customers, organised around Europe by Cincom.
Co-operative advertising deals, support for exhibition stands and promotional events and space on the Cincom Web site are also options.
The ISR scheme is aimed at small integrators. These partners will be allocated a specific sales territory or niche market and Cincom will offer training and marketing support to help develop these customers.
