Vendor Adtron signs master distributor

Disk drive vendor Adtron has signed Hammer as its master distributor for EMEA to provide sales coverage and support for Adtron’s distributors, resellers and system integrators.
Hammer will distribute Adtron’s 2.5in and 3.5in solid state flash disk (SSD) range along with security products for the military and aerospace sectors. Products will include the ArrayPro Performance Engine, which has sustained read/write performance in the 70Mbit/s range and the Erasure Data Security Suite.
Rick Gimbel, director of marketing programme at Adtron, said: “Adtron chose Hammer as it focuses exclusively on storage. Hammer will increase not just sales but also support levels. Adtron has five other distributors and Hammer will now support them.”
