Distributor Enta Technologies has signed an agreement with security vendor Solarsoft

Distributor Enta Technologies has signed an agreement with security vendor Solarsoft, and launched reseller incentives.

The deal will see Enta distribute Solarsoft’s Madesafe security suite, which covers internet child safety, data privacy and identity theft, and virus protection.

Ian Jenner, software business manager at Enta, told CRN that if resellers ship to an end-user and log this information with Solarsoft, and the end-user renews, the reseller gets an extra 25 per cent of the cost price.

“This is a huge incentive for resellers and will raise brand awareness. We are most interested in signing VARs that have system building capabilities. Looking for resellers is a continuous process,” he said.

Carl West, vice-president of sales at Solarsoft, said: “We see Enta as a hungry tier-two distributor . VARs will get recurring revenue and we’ve seen 130 VARs in the past three weeks.”
