Unified Software plots partner programme
Financial transaction web service provider poised to roll out formal model
Unified Software is working on plans to roll out its partner programme over the next few months
Financial transactions web service provider Unified Software is on the brink of rolling out an official UK partner programme.
The Tyne and Wear-based company is about to start formally recruiting resellers.
George Barron, managing director of Unified Software, said: “We are currently working with partners on a referral or ad-hoc basis, but there are plans for a formal partner programme to roll out within the next few months.
“Our web application service would lend itself well to resellers, as we offer a commission from the customer. Financial transactions are used by all businesses – we currently have an estimated two million customers.”
Barron explained the service would provide a solid selling point for resellers, due to the current economic climate.
“The pay-per-use model is well suited to customers that are currently looking for new ways to save on costs," he said.
“We attract a lot of customers in higher education. Instead of a university having to pay a huge fee to use our services all year, it can opt to pay during peak times only, such as when tuition fees and rent are paid at the beginning of a semester.”
