HP Rewards expanding to printers
Vendor incentive scheme will include printer sales
HP notebooks, like this ProBook, are currently included in the rewards scheme
Printers are set to join the HP Rewards channel programme from June, according to an executive at the vendor.
Gavin Parrish, commercial category manager at HP PSG, said that the HP Rewards programme will be expanded next month to include printers, but with some differences.
“Printers will be basically under the same sort of structure, but you won’t have the trade-in scheme and you won’t get the ‘Ultimate’ connectivity, as those are PSG offerings rather than IPG offerings,” said Parrish.
Currently, HP Rewards offers channel companies a range of incentives to sell items such as notebooks. Partners must register online to receive the rewards package, which vary by product.
“For example, if you spend more than £100,000 with HP in any one year, you will earn around £3,000, or five free HP 5310 ProBooks,” said Parrish.
