Node4 unveils channel plans

Hosted service provider launches first formal partner programme

After cutting its teeth using a direct sales model, hosted service provider Node4 is making an aggressive foray into the channel.

The UK start-up, which currently has 40 resellers, has unveiled its first formal partner programme as it looks to migrate to a channel-only model.

Paul Bryce, business development director at Node4, said: “The new programme takes a lot of things our existing partners valued and packages it up. This includes plugging gaps in technical and sales training and individual marketing support.”

Bryce said Node4 was particularly keen to recruit PBX resellers working with NEC and Siemens. “I would like to have 50 partners proactively delivering our solutions,” he added.

Tim Welch, head of operations at Node4 partner Total Host, said: “We work with Node4 because of its flexibility and technical support.”
