ATEN links up with Micro-P

Hardware vendor signs distribution partner

Hardware vendor ATEN has added to its distribution stable by signing a deal with Micro-Peripherals (Micro-P).
The Taiwan-based keyboard, video, mouse (KVM) switch specialist will supply Micro-P with its complete range of products for distribution across its UK reseller base.
John Chen, managing director at ATEN, told CRN: “Micro-P has a good reputation and a strong market brand. It has a large reseller base and now that ATEN is Micro-P’s only KVM vendor there is a good chance of attracting customers.”
ATEN will focus on all sectors of the market, but has claimed its latest versions of the KVM Altusen range are aimed at the enterprise class in particular.
“We have found that KVM products also work well across vertical markets,” added Chen.
