Strategix bags Zycko deal

Distributor tweaks supply chain operations across EMEA with help from software specialist

Supply chain software specialist Strategix Software has bagged a deal with distributor Zycko to revamp its supply chain operations.

The distributor will roll out Strategix's OneOffice product in nine of its offices across the EMEA region. Zycko undertook the rejig to help facilitate its plans for business development and revenue growth this year.

Strategix claimed the distributor needed a product capable of taking care of the complications involved with holding stock in one business unit but keeping it available for direct customer sales. Peter Lusty, chief executive of Strategix, indicated being able to integrate his company's solution with Zycko's existing platforms was crucial to landing the deal.

"Over the years, Strategix has earned an enviable reputation for delivering pan-European supply chain solutions and our OneOffice solution is renowned for the depth of the functionality that it delivers in this complex market," he said.

Zycko's group IT director Paul Wignall added: "We needed a supply chain and business management solution that was proven at solving complex, multi-warehouse, multi-location and multi-currency stock and trading requirements.

"We selected OneOffice because it comprehensively provides all the features, functions and processes needed to fulfil our multinational operations requirements."
