Renucci leaves Damovo

Reseller's 'driving force' departs after three years as managing director

The driving force behind Damovo UK’s recent success, Paul Renucci, has left the reseller.

Renucci was appointed as managing director of Damovo UK in February 2003. Under his leadership the VAR drove up sales by 10 per cent (CRN, 22 March 2004), boosted its public-sector business (CRN, 17 January 2005), and secured supplier status on the Office of Government Commerce Buying Solutions’ Catalist framework (CRN, 30 May).

A full rationale for Renucci’s departure is still unconfirmed. In a statement issued to CRN, Damovo said: “We can confirm Paul Renucci is no longer with Damovo UK. [Former Azlan director] Nick Dean has joined as managing director of Damovo UK.”

Keith Humphreys, managing consultant at research firm EuroLAN, said: “Renucci is well respected and did a great job at Damovo. It’s a surprise departure.”
