Kaseya seeks Irish partners

US-based vendor appoints former CA director Paul McEvoy to push recruitment drive

US-based managed service automation vendor Kaseya has appointed former CA director Paul McEvoy to spearhead a partner recruitment drive in Ireland.

After touching down in Dublin in January, the firm is hoping to recruit 30 managed service providers (MSPs) to deliver its software to SMEs by the end of 2007.

McEvoy said: “About 90 per cent of Irish firms are SMEs so there is a huge market for us here. There are more than 80 MSPs in Ireland and we would hope to have 30 of those on board by the end of this year. No-one else sells through the SME channel as a managed service.”

McEvoy claimed partners can typically net margins of more than 66 per cent by white-labelling and adding their own look and feel to Kaseya’s web-based offering.
