Owl hopes to target luxury environments, for example hotels, with the waterproof TVs

Midwich, with its sister company Owl Visual Systems, has signed up with bathroom display specialist Videotree.

UK-based Videotree makes LCD TVs for bathrooms, kitchens and other damp environments.

Christopher Bruce, sales manager at Videotree, said securing the exclusive deal with Midwich allowed it to focus on range expansion.

“We will focus on establishing Videotree as the market leader within the custom installation, hospitality and leisure markets,” Bruce said.

Lee Baker, business manager at Midwich, said the deal would create new opportunities for sales to hotels, leisure industry and hospitality locations, as well as residential custom work.

“We are working hard to bring new opportunities such as this to our customers in niche markets where they can make higher-than-average margins,” Baker said.
