Avaya urges partners to become MarketLeaders
Vendor unveils latest campaign to help its channel grow its business
Avaya: We want our channels to succeed
Comms vendor Avaya has taken the wraps off its latest initiative to drive business through its EMEA channel partners.
MarketLeaders is a marketing programme that the vendor is hoping will help its resellers make the most of sales opportunities, and also offers marketing training to help VARs build their marketing knowledge and generate more sales leads as a result.
Topics covered in the scheme include Unified Communications IT Telephony, SMB and contact centres.
Michelle Jones, channel marketing manager at Avaya, said: “MarketLeaders put simply is marketing on demand. We want our channels to succeed and the beauty of this programme is its combination of marketing training and campaign support, which develops marketing skills and frees partner time to focus on closing opportunities, nurturing customer relationships and driving growth. Cost-effectively adding marketing skills to sales-centric businesses is critical in this economy.”
Avaya claimed campaigns can be executed in any language, with every campaign co-branded and packaged for each partner, offering a range of emails, direct mail, web landing pages, online registration, telemarketing and events managements. Partners can also get their hands on a range of "How To" marketing guides.
The scheme has been trialled through a number of European partners, all of which seem happy with the results.
Roger Hefti, account general manager of the Integration Services Business at Orange Business Services in Switzerland, said: “Our initial experience has been positive and professional.”
Viktoria Eldehag, marketing manager at Datametrix in Sweden, said: “We are currently engaged in executing the Aura for All direct marketing campaign via MarketLeaders, and to date, this is running smoothly, with early indications that we will get the results we expect.”
