Esteem gears up for growth

Integrator splits into two distinct units to drive expansion

On the up - Esteem is pushing for growth with latest strategy

VAR Esteem has divided into two new business units to fulfil its ambitious growth plans.

One unit is dedicated to managed services and the other to systems and services. The managed services division will focus on delivering long-term services to address the issues of administering and managing complex IT infrastructures and the systems and services division will concentrate on Esteem’s core business solutions and services, including consultancy, design and implementation.

Gary Pearson, the existing professional services director at Esteem will take on the role of managed services director to head up the division, and the firm has signed Keith Headland as its new systems and services director.

Both Pearson and Headland will report to Alastair Kitching, who has recently been promoted to chief operating officer.

Joe Connolly, chief executive of Esteem said: “The change in structure will help us to focus and grow two very strong divisions which can meet our current and future business needs. Together, our two divisions cover the entire lifecycle of the IT investment from end to end which means we can continue to offer services to match our customers’ objectives and make their targets achievable.”
