C2C channels path with Eacs email partnership
Vendor's channel expansion plans gather pace with several signings in the pipeline
David Hunt: The email archiving market is continuing to grow at a rapid rate
Email archiving vendor C2C has hailed its partner recruitment drive a success as it looks to increase its channel presence in the UK.
Since announcing its partner programme at Storage Expo in October (CRN, 26 October), C2C has signed Eacs as its newest reseller and the company told CRN it has four more partners in the pipeline.
David Hunt, chief executive of C2C, said: “Eacs is very skilled in the area of email archiving. C2C looks for partners that have the necessary skills in this market space, which is continuing to grow at a rapid rate.
“C2C will be working with Eacs and supporting it by giving it leads and in turn Eacs will help us with leads; it’s a two-way street. The lead is then exclusive to that partner and will not be followed up by any other C2C reseller partner.”
Hunt also said its partners will eventually be offered training on its products to ensure they are educated on C2C’s Archive One email archiving products.
James Royal, account manager at Eacs, said: “Eacs is also a partner of Zantaz, which is in the same space as C2C and therefore gives Eacs’ customers a broader choice.”
Mike Dearlove, managing director of Eacs, said: “With C2C as a partner, Eacs has an alternative offering and in terms of its Archive One email products it is in a good area to benefit from growth opportunities because this market is continually increasing.”
Royal added: “C2C is very helpful in that it sends its sales team into Eacs and keeps us updated with information without hounding us.”
