Bell Micro adds Minicom's digital signage portfolio
End-to-end, complementary media infrastructure range added to pan-European stable
Dirk Andreas: Minicom digital signage will complement what Bell already offers
Bell Micro has signed a pan-European distribution agreement with Minicom Digital Signage to sell the latter’s signage media infrastructure portfolio.
Ronni Guggenheim, chief executive at Minicom Digital Signage, said Bell had a “cohesive” value-added end-to-end approach to digital signage.
“The digital signage industry is currently very diverse and supported by a large number of fragmented vendors,” Guggenheim said.
Dirk Andreas, director of Bell Micro’s European integrated solutions division, said it believed Minicom to be a global leader in digital signage media infrastructure.
“They are an integral part of any digital signage installation,” Andreas said. “Minicom offers a one-to-many screen connection and a flexibility of cable length – 100m to 600m.”
Andreas said that Minicom’s upcoming remote display management and proof-of-performance offering would help operators make their digital signage networks more efficient and cost-effective.
Bell Micro first entered the digital signage market three years ago, and has signed up with vendors supplying screens, players and software for signage applications. Minicom’s offering was complementary, Andreas said.
