Xploite closes in on third deal
Reseller nears acquisition
Acquisitive storage VAR Xploite is close to announcing its third conquest in eight months following a summer spent narrowing down potential targets.
Chief executive Ian Smith unveiled plans to build a £100m storage player in February and has since snapped up VARs Posetiv and Anix.
Fresh from raising £1.04m from selling its non-core Fujin arm to management, Smith told CRN: “We haven’t been lazy this summer. We have examined a dozen acquisition targets, slimmed that down to three or four, and will be announcing something shortly.”
