Managed services firm aimed to educate partners in dealing with CIOs
Managed services specialist Phoenix IT has branded its dedicated reseller day a success following positive partner feedback.
The firm hosted a reseller day to educate its channel partners in dealing with chief information officers (CIOs). The event took place at the Royal Aeronautical Society in London earlier this month and included talks from two former CIOs.
Paul Sallis, channel sales director of Phoenix IT, said: "We now have 20 channel partners and the event provided advice and tips about selling to CIOs.
"It sends a strong message that we are not just talking about Phoenix and we are providing real value to our partners."
Sallis added the event received good feedback from resellers, which gained skills in negotiation and communicating with CIOs.
Arman Khan, commercial director of IT consultancy partner 3net, said: "The day was a consultancy session to understand how to approach CIOs and what they expect.
"It is refreshing for a company like Phoenix to host days like this to assist us when working with CIOs," added Khan.
