Ingram gets in the Fast Lane
Distributor to offer Cisco training services to VARs
Ingram Micro has formed a strategic partnership with Cisco Learning Partner, Fast Lane, to offer Cisco training services to VARs.
A series of focused programmes will be available, initially concentrating on IP telephony, security and wireless, together with a sales development programme for resellers.
Bhavesh Patel, commercial director at Ingram, said: “We recognised the need to offer specialist training services to our resellers to enable them to be competitive in the market. After a detailed evaluation, we chose to partner with Fast Lane, because it has in-depth Cisco expertise in the UK market.”
Peter Olive, managing director of Fast Lane, said: “Given Cisco’s indirect go-to-market model, it was important to us that we have a strong distribution partner. Ingram has a clear growth strategy that is in line with our own.”
