York-based LAR has 23 vacancies to fill by September

On the hunt: Trustmarque is hunting for sales staff as it seeks to build headcount this summer

Trustmarque has become the latest Microsoft large account reseller (LAR) to hit the recruitment trail and is aiming to boost its headcount to 140 by September.

The software licensing outfit said it has 23 vacancies to fill, most of which are in sales and based at its York head office.

Other posts are available in administration, finance and its IT solutions.

The recruitment drive follows a similar announcement from rival LAR Softcat, which is scouting for graduates to staff its new London office.

Trustmarque’s sales and marketing director Angelo Di Ventura predicted his firm would continue to grow sales despite the public sector spending crunch.

“We see many organisations who understand that saving money doesn’t come from standing still, but instead this climate will shift the emphasis onto projects which are completed effectively, efficiently and deliver a real return on investment for their business,” he said.
