Northgate Information Solutions nets Durham Council deal

Technology is designed to improve abiltiy to provide housing services

Northgate Information Solutions has signed a contract worth £900,000 over five years with the City of Durham, which will provide the council with housing management technology.

The technology is designed to improve the council’s ability to provide housing services to its citizens and to enable it to optimise management of its housing stock.

The contract will extend the vendor’s existing relationship with the city council.

Dave Meaden, managing director of Northgate’s public services division, said: “Our housing management solution demonstrates how technology can facilitate the improvement of high- value services for citizens and meet their individual needs.”

Angelo Moscardini, head of property services at City of Durham Council, said: “Extending our partnership with Northgate is a key long-term decision in our improvement strategy.”
