Dialcom hits UK turf
The vendor wants to expand its reseller base with more UK-based firms
Dialcom is looking for system integrators, niche resellers and videoconferencing resellers
US unified collaboration vendor Dialcom has opened a UK office and announced a hunt for resellers.
Newly hired UK head Phil Burgess said the eight-year-old company, which makes Spontania unified collaboration software, formerly ran its UK operations from Madrid.
“We have been successful in Spain, with more than 100 customers including some very large ones,” he said. “It is time for expansion.”
Its single UK customer Hasbro was acquired direct, but Dialcom is seeking systems integrators, niche resellers and videoconferencing resellers for the gear, said Burgess.
Dialcom’s Spontania software is server-based and clientless. It supports multi-point videoconferencing, application sharing, instant messaging, teleconferencing, data sharing and session recording.
