DNS Arrow completes Centia acquisition

Distribution giant confirms $32m acquisition of Centia and AKS Group is complete

Less than a month after announcing its intention to acquire rival distributor Centia and AKS Group, DNS Arrow has completed its $32m purchase.

The deal, which gives the distributor greater traction in the virtualisation space (CRN, 13 August), will see UK-based Centia and Scandinavian-based AKS Group become a part of DNS Arrow (UK), DNS Int (Europe) and Arrow (Global).

Steve Pearce, managing director of DNS Arrow, said: "We are delighted that this deal has progressed as planned and look forward to working together in our aim to dominate the high value solutions end of the distribution channel."
