Infonic launches partner programme
Document management software vendor hunts recruits for three-tiered programme
Document management software vendor Infonic has launched a partner programme in a bid to expand its channel model.
Following the appointment of James Adie as EMEA channel director, Infonic plans to build and develop new sales channels and routes to market.
Infonic’s portfolio helps end users to capture, store, locate and employ business information more effectively. The vendor’s software solutions range across global markets including government, maritime, military, finance, legal, pharmaceutical and educational organisations.
Due to go live in July, the Platinum, Gold and Silver tiered partner programme includes training for resellers and lead generation.
Adie, EMEA channel director of Infonic, said: “Previously, Infonic was mostly direct but there was a realisation that to grow it would have to grow a strong channel. I was appointed to bring new streams of business to the company.”
Adie said Infonic plans to have recruited a strong channel base by 2009.
He added: “Partners have to show a certain amount of commitment. There are already 15 channel partners and all will become part of the new programme.”
