Kingston Communications acquires JAM IP
Acquisitive company buys IP contact centre reseller to bolster its Affiniti arm
Kingston Communications, parent company of VAR Affiniti, has acquired JAM IP, an IP contact centre reseller, for an initial consideration of £2.56m.
JAM IP is a Cisco Advanced Technology Partner and Kingston has said the buy fits in with its growing IP contact centre strategy.
JAM IP implements multimedia applications for IP contact centres including screen pops, text to speech, voice authentication, self serve applications, and speech recognition. In addition, JAM IP has developed a portfolio of application management and productivity tools to enhance the performance of IP-enabled contact centres.
Malcolm Fallen, chief executive of Kingston, said: "JAM IP complements Affiniti’s strategy to deliver integrated communications for our enterprise customers, broadening our capability in the rapidly growing IP contact centre solutions market.”
