Genesis Associates eyes £15,000 fundraising target

Sky-diving chickens, climbing mountains and mammoth bike rides are just some of the activities the company is undertaking this year to raise money for Bliss babycare charity

Group effort: Staff at Genesis Associates are all pitching in to raise £15,000 this year

Channel recruitment firm Genesis Associates is looking to raise £15,000 for babycare charity Bliss this year by doing a series of major fundraising initiatives.

The employees decided to support the charity after the owner of Genesis Associates lost a premature baby last year.

Some of the fundraising activities include the Great Manchester Run, the Three Peaks Challenge, a summer ball and auction, an eBay auction and a York to Manchester bike ride.

One of the firm's associate directors, Craig Austin, is even doing a sky dive dressed as a chicken.

Austin said: “This is a charity that is very close to our hearts and we will soon be appealing to all our clients in the channel to support us in what is sure to be a significant challenge.”
