Zebra Technologies targets force automation market
Barcode printer vendor appoints its first dedicated partner
Barcode printer vendor Zebra Technologies is looking to push into the field force automation market this year and has appointed its first dedicated partner.
Marion Obergfell, EMEA channel marketing manager for Zebra, told CRN: “We are well established in the auto-ID market so now it is vital for us to raise our brand-awareness in other areas. We feel the field force automation space will really take off this year.”
To help it make inroads into the market, Zebra has appointed system integrator Mobile Enterprise Systems.
Jack Sane, director of Mobile Enterprise Systems, told CRN: “Field force automation is all we do. We sell both ruggardised and non-ruggardised PDAs, and obviously these types of industries need mobile printers to work with PDAs.”
