Hammer managing director James Ward
Hammer has become the first distributor in Europe to offer Rebit backup products.
Hammer will distribute the automated backup vendor’s portfolio, which provides a complete system recovery for Windows XP and Vista.
Rebit plugs into a PC’s USB port for continuous backup of both data and applications. If the computer crashes Rebit recovers everything onto the replacement hard drive.
Paul Matravers, sales director for storage products at Hammer, said: “I am confident that our customers will enthusiastically welcome Rebit’s complete, fully-automated backup and recovery appliance.
“It is a perfect fit for those customers focused on the consumer sector, for which we have recently launched a dedicated team, in addition to our existing storage products and solutions divisions.”
Ian Rothery, vice president of international sales at Rebit, said: “Hammer is held in very high regard in the European Channel, and it is a privilege to be associated with such a solid partner.
“Hammer is the ideal distributor to introduce Rebit’s unparalleled backup appliance to its extensive customer base.”
