Pettifer heads RSA programme
Security vendor RSA has appointed a new international channel programmes manager to oversee its SecurWorld partner strategy and continue reseller recruitment.
Jo Pettifer, who joined the firm from networking giant 3Com, will run both EMEA and Asia Pacific. She told CRN she intends to develop closer ties with RSA’s distribution partners.
The vendor, whose flagship products include the SecurID authentication range, launched SecurWorld earlier this year as its “biggest investment in the channel” (CRN, 2 May).
“I have joined the company at a very exciting time. We have more channel partners under contract than ever before. The programme has taken off incredibly well,” Pettifer said.
She added that she intends to drive the vendor to develop more tools and programmes to make it easier for partners to sell RSA products. SecurWorld partners are divided into Access (volume partners) and Solution (value-add partners).
Pettifer added: “Another key part of my job is to bring on board more resellers, while strengthening relationships with existing partners.”
David Henderson, sales director at RSA partner Armadillo, said: “It is good that RSA has someone focusing on EMEA again. Its challenge now is to bring some of its other products through the channel.”
