Redstone Telecoms dangles channel carrot

Telecoms arm of integrator Redstone introduces three partner tiers and offers VARs bonuses and marketing tools

Redstone Telecom has revamped its channel programme and launched a series of partner incentives in a bid to double its indirect business within a year.

The telecoms firm is a division of voice and data integrator Redstone. It will be offering Gold Dealer partners payments of 50p in each pound of revenue targets achieved. Silver Dealers will be eligible for a 40p in the pound payment and Bronze Dealers 30p.

Additionally, Gold Dealers will feature on an online partner locator and responses to their phone and email enquiries will be prioritised. Gold and Silver Dealers will both benefit from joint marketing initiatives based around opportunities to grow business agreed with Redstone Telecom.

A team of account managers will be tasked with managing the new tiered programme. Further VAR support will be provided through Redstone's extranet and online training tools, which are available to all resellers.

Tim Morton of Evergreen Communications claimed his company is gunning to become one of Redstone Telecom's first certified Gold Dealers. "Redstone’s team make it easy to sell their services, offering the full range of telecom services with prompt support that enables us to provide a high quality service to our customers," he said.

"That level of service has been a key factor in securing low cost, ongoing revenue from these customers."

Redstone Telecom's indirect sales director David Thorn added: "We have ambitious plans to grow our business with our channel partners. As we planned this new programme their feedback was that they value tools that help them develop and grow their business and cash incentives to reward performance, rather than the usual trips and boys toys. We built the Dealer Rewards programme around that feedback and are looking forward to seeing a growing number of partners expanding their business through it.”
