Vamping it up and out for blood at E3

Snoop hears rumours about the Anglo boys' interest in Leisuresoft, and reports on an outbreak of fisticuffs at the ECTS awards.

Snoop's informers have spied the boys behind Anglo - the saviours of SDL - traipsing around Leisuresoft to see if it's worth adding to their growing distribution empire. Stuart Tidy and National Car Parks heir David Gosling have already expressed an interest in Centresoft but now reckon that might be a bit of a closed shop with the Centresoft management on the inside track with its MBO. Tidy said that if Anglo got Centresoft it would become a slimmed down operation. SDL certainly got lean with its jog round from Sidcup to new premises in Woking losing 40 staff in the process. Current employees of Leisuresoft could look forward to a two hour each way commute if things go the Anglo way.

Snoop is a tough guy but he faints at the sight of blood so fortunately he wasn't on hand as bouncer at the ECTS awards night where fisticuffs broke out between a member of Paragon's editorial team and an unnamed, but definitely the worse for wear, opponent.

Neil Armstrong (no relation to that moon bloke), editor of CD-ROM Games strolled into the gents unaware that some drunk in a suit was lurking round the corner to give him a punch. Neil reponded with a quick three counter blows leaving his assailant bloody on the bog floor.
