Watermark acquires Cedilla Systems

Watermark claims acquisition will further its goal of being largest Microsoft Dynamics partner in the UK

VAR consolidation continued apace in the industry with Microsoft powerhouse Watermark snapping up Cedilla Systems for an undisclosed sum.

Watermark merged with Qurius last year to form the largest Microsoft Dynamics partner in Europe and claimed the buy will give it even more clout in the market and help it achieve its goal of becoming the largest Dynamics partner in the UK.

Mike Dickson, managing director of Cedilla, said: "This announcement is great news for Cedilla; it will enable us to provide a broader range of Microsoft solutions and services to our customers. In addition we will be able to serve larger, and international, companies in our target vertical markets.”

Thomas Ajspur, Sales Director of Watermark UK, said: “Watermark is the largest European Microsoft Dynamics partner and we continue to have ambitious goals for strategic growth. One of those goals is to become the leading Microsoft Dynamics partner in the UK. The merger with Cedilla means we now have two UK offices – Swindon and Manchester – each with around 30 staff, which takes us all one step closer to achieving our goal.”
