ScriptLogic adds more VARs to Platinum tier
Software vendor recruits three partners as part of EMEA expansion
Software vendor ScriptLogic has signed three more partners to the highest tier of its partner programme, as part of its ongoing EMEA expansion scheme.
ICM Computer Group, ISC and Centralis have signed as resellers to the vendor’s ScriptLogic Partner Programme, which launched earlier this year (CRN, 13 March). All three VARs have joined the vendor’s Platinum tier, which requires partners to have at least $100,000 turnover and two trained technical staff.
Nick Cavalancia, vice-president of product marketing management at ScriptLogic, told CRN that the three Platinum partners brings the total number in the tier to four.
“ICM, ISC and Centralis are all excellent fits because of their consultancy focus,” he said. “They will increase our UK footprint. All of our partners have to have both Microsoft links and a consultancy focus.”
Cavalancia added that he has seen a “ramp up” in interest from potential partners over the past few months.
The vendor has also announced that it intends to sign a further 15 partners to its Gold tier by the end of the year, and add a training element to its recruitment process.
Alistair King, technical director at ICM Computer Group, told CRN that a partnership with ScriptLogic will give it a commercial edge.
“Tier-one vendors do not always have the facilities we need,” he said. “But ScriptLogic did have the facilities, such as active directory management.”
The announcement follows the vendor’s recent signing of two UK distribution partners: InterQuad and Centia (CRN, 10 April).
ScriptLogic said it does not have any plans to further increase its distribution numbers.
