Microsoft partner makes acquisition hint as it posts full-year sales of £140m

Bytes will buy again once it finds the right match

Microsoft LAR Bytes Communications has vowed to continue on the acquisition trail after posting a17 per cent hike in full-year turnover.

Bytes’ financial year finished in February and it achieved £140m in turnover compared to £120m last year.

The reseller posted a £4m net profit compared to £3m a year earlier.

Neil Murphy, managing director at Bytes, said the acquisitive reseller would make another purchase once it finds the right match.

“We have achieved 55 per cent growth per annum for the past four years – to retain that growth we are on the lookout for a business to acquire.

“We had strong year-end results and have had a cracking March so far.”

Murphy said to continue with the LAR’s growth, Bytes has added 15 new sales and business support staff over the past two months.
