TSG loses two executives
VAR group claims it is business as usual and is set to focus on growth
VAR Technology Services Group (TSG) has lost two of its top executives in the same week.
Mark Ambler, who was previously regional managing director for the northen region at TSG and joined the VAR when it acquired Pegasus, Sage and SAP software reseller Baron Corporate Systems (BCE) in August 2004, has been replaced by former customer services director Simon Kujawa.
TSG's regional managing director for the Midlands - Alan Mann, who joined the VAR upon its acquisition of System Advantage in December 2004, has also resigned and been internally replaced by Nicola Marshal.
Speaking to CRN Ambler said: "I left to spend more time with my family and relax. It's been hard work with BCE and TSG, but I will continue to assist Simon on an ad-hoc basis. It can take six to 18 months to embed an acquisition and there have been a few redundancies along the way."
Simon Kujawa, commenting on Ambler's departure, said: "He came in when we bought BCS and helped us to grow the business significantly. We are still going to grow in Yorkshire and develop according to our plans."
Separately, InterQuad Learning, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for learning solutions, has opened a new training centre based at TSG's Newcastle headquarters, comprised of four training rooms, to provide a range of courses.
