Digital signage firm looks to raise market share with partnerships and expands into Dubai and Canada

Digital signage-as-a-service provider Signagelive.com is in negotiations with IT distributor Westcoast in the UK and has signed new channel partners in the Middle East and Canada.
As CRN went to press, the Essex-based company was hoping to ink a deal with broadline powerhouse Westcoast and had just announced contracts with resellers Anlonits in Dubai and KCSP in Canada.
Jason Cremins, chief executive of Signagelive.com, said that IT distribution is increasingly important in sales of digital signage.
“Westcoast’s Samsung division is looking at providing [digital signage] upgrades for existing customers and resellers. We will be shipping our software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution pre-loaded, and are working on the software licensing side too,” he said.
“Westcoast could also use our product internally with its 400 sales employees,” he added.
Signagelive.com has seen potential for overseas deals. In the Middle East, growth in leisure, hospitality, corporate and education markets offers digital signage opportunities, according to Cremins.
Bartlomiej Gawron, general director of KCSP division Narrowcasting, said that Signagelive.com offers complete solutions for Canada-based partners and customers.
