ArcomIT eyes dominance after Trinet merger
Guildford and Shoreham-based VARs complete their union
VARs ArcomIT and Trinet have set themselves the long-term goal of becoming the “leading solutions provider in the South East” after completing their merger.
Guildford-based Microsoft, Citrix, DoubleTake and HP partner ArcomIT said the union will boost its networking, data hosting and storage capabilities.
The new business will eventually trade as Arcom IT.
ArcomIT managing director Shahid Azeem, said: “This move provides us with more capabilities and a bigger customer base across the region, but also represents an essential part of our longer-term strategy to grow the business and become the leading solutions provider in the South East.”
Azeem said he had a professional affiliation with Shoreham-based Trinet for 20 years, dating back to when he worked at A&P Computers in the late 1980s.
ArcomIT’s customers include online gaming company PartyGaming, Tiscali, Siemens and John Dennis Fire Engines.
